Brief
Hudson Advisors, a global asset management firm, sought to expand and modernise their office space at Fitzwilliam Place to support their growing team of 200+ employees. The project involved transforming a blank-slate shell into a dynamic, functional workspace that would reflect the company's professionalism while enhancing daily operations and employee collaboration.
Design
The design approach prioritised openness, natural light, and functional zoning. A key element was the integration of open-plan areas, encouraging team interaction and communication across departments. To balance openness with the need for privacy and structure, glazed partitioning was introduced throughout the three floors. These glass installations not only provided acoustic separation and defined meeting spaces but also ensured a continuous flow of natural light, maintaining a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The aesthetic was clean, modern, and professional, mirroring Hudson Advisors’ brand identity.

What we delivered
- A complete three-floor office expansion from shell to full fit-out
- Open-plan collaborative work zones to foster teamwork
- Private offices and multiple meeting rooms with full-height glazed partitions
- Zoning strategies to define quiet, collaborative, and client-facing spaces
- A contemporary materials palette and high-end finishes that balanced functionality with visual appeal
- Strategic use of lighting and glass to maximise natural brightness and visual continuity across all areas

Outcome
The newly completed workspace successfully supports Hudson Advisors’ operational needs and company culture. Employees benefit from a balance of open, collaborative environments and private, sound-controlled meeting areas. The fit-out not only increases overall capacity but also elevates the work experience, resulting in a brighter, more efficient, and professional setting for staff and clients alike. The project stands as a model of how thoughtful design and smart planning can transform an empty space into a vibrant, purpose-driven office.
